Shane has spent the majority of his legal career defending individuals and businesses in a variety of legal matters ranging from automobile negligence to multi-party construction cases. He currently defends cases of distinct types, with special concentration in construction defect defense.

Shane’s background provides a unique perspective allowing him to connect with clients in a way that many in the legal profession cannot. He is a first-generation college graduate and the only attorney in his extended family. Family outings provide an opportunity to gain insight on what the world looks like outside of the legal profession and to use that knowledge to provide exemplary representation to clients.

His first job after passing the North Carolina Bar Exam was with a small law firm specializing in defense of automobile negligence cases. During a 25-year legal career, Shane has worked at firms of various sizes, including his practice as a solo practitioner and working at a firm with over 100 attorneys. Each position has provided invaluable experience, and he has used each stop along the way as an opportunity to gain experience from mentors, co-workers, and staff.

He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and Wake County Bar. Outside of the office, he enjoys exercising, spending time with friends and family and occasionally playing a round of golf.
