Community Service

The Walker Allen Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization operated by our attorneys and staff. We are dedicated to enriching lives of local children. Every dollar of funds raised by the Foundation is spent on the community missions outlined below.

BROGDEN 4th GRADE CHRISTMAS PARTY

Our Foundation gives these 4th grade children a day they'll never forget. At some parties, students rotate through fun stations where they make ornaments, decorate cookies, have their faces painted, play in a photo booth, watch a magic show and more. They have been taught about giving through ZOE Helps Ministry where they write letters to children across the world. At some parties, the children receive Christmas presents (including one to carry home), new shoes and backpacks. For some children, these will be the only Christmas presents they receive. Food and snacks are provided.

SUPPORTING THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

The Walker Allen Foundation recognizes the daily role played by the Boys & Girls Club of Wayne County in impacting the lives of local children. We help by donating computers and other items that are necessary for the Boys & Girls Club to continue its great work in our community.

HELPING ATTAIN HIGHER EDUCATION

The Foundation has followed some students to and beyond graduation. We have provided some funding for a few high school graduates to continue with their education at the local community college.

SUMMER JOB PLACEMENT

Our Foundation has helped some students find summer jobs. These teens get a head start with resume building and work experience, all while learning to help others.

MARSHAL PROGRAM

In 2015, the Walker Allen Foundation launched its Marshal Program. Through this program, we have brought some of our former 4th Graders back to the annual Christmas party to serve as Marshals to assist with the festivities. These teens were happy to help provide an unforgettable night for the kids following in their footsteps, furthering our goal of giving back to the community.

We hope you’ll consider donating to the Walker Allen Foundation. In doing so, you will be enriching the lives of children in our community and providing them with the skills, support and resources they so desperately need.

Your donations will help fund Christmas comes early for the Brogden 4th Graders when they get to meet and receive a present from Santa Claus. The Walker Allen Foundation is proud to spread some Christmas cheer and provide needed items to the children of Wayne County.
