Before pursuing a legal career, Karl worked as a data analyst and programmer for an international company based in Charlotte, NC, gaining invaluable experience in problem-solving and analytical thinking. His career path took a pivotal turn when he served four years in the United States Army, stationed in Germany, where he not only honed leadership skills but also met his wife, Tanja.
After his military service, Karl earned his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, where he developed a passion for defending clients in complex legal matters. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Winthrop University, equipping him with a strong foundation in critical thinking and attention to detail—skills he applies daily in his legal practice.
