Carlee Taber joined Walker Allen in September 2020 as a newly admitted member of the South Carolina Bar. Carlee primarily focuses her practice on general civil litigation, including automobile accident and medical malpractice cases.
Carlee is a May 2020 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. Carlee was on the Dean’s List in Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Fall 2019 semesters. She received a CALI award in Consumer Law in Spring 2020. She was actively involved in the South Carolina Law Pro Bono Guardian Ad Litem Project for the Probate Court. Carlee served as the Associate Communications Editor for the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business from 2019-2020. She worked as a research assistant for Dean of Diversity and Inclusion Susan Kuo and Professor Benjamin Means throughout law school. Carlee spent her summers working for a downtown Columbia construction law firm and the second half of her 2L summer as an associate with Walker Allen.
Prior to attending law school, Carlee graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Political Science in 2017. She graduated with International Honors as a member of the Lloyd International Honors College. She was a member of Chi Omega Fraternity and Pi Sigma Alpha Honors Society. Carlee had the opportunity to study abroad at James Cook University in Queensland, Australia in the fall of 2016.
In her free time, Carlee enjoys spending time with her dog, Lizzie, lounging around the Charleston beaches, practicing yoga, and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks.
