Prior to joining Walker Allen, she served as an Assistant District Attorney where she quickly gained the nickname “Bull Dog” for her tenacious trial practice.

Alicia graduated cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 with a degree in Political Science. She double majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish.

Alicia attended law school at North Carolina Central University School of Law. In law school, she was a member of Moot Court Board and Trial Advocacy Board, where she earned top tier awards in each. She gained additional valuable trial experience working in various district attorney’s offices, including Durham, Orange, and Brunswick Counties.

In addition to representing clients in general civil litigation, Alicia is also an active volunteer for North Carolina’s Legal Aid program. Since graduating law school, she has continuously prioritized giving back to those unable to afford legal representation. She values service and strives to be of service to as many in need as she can.

Outside of practicing law, Alicia enjoys domestic and international travel, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.
