Jerry is the Managing Partner of Walker Allen, where he is responsible for the daily operation of the firm offices. He divides his time between the Goldsboro and Raleigh offices.

He has been litigating and trying cases for 30 years in numerous counties throughout North Carolina. He has represented health care providers from nearly all specialties and subspecialties in complex cases and varied regulatory matters. His experience includes more than 175 civil jury trials involving serious injury or death.

Jerry is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Federal District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts and the United States Court of Claims in Washington, D.C. Over the last several years, Jerry has been recognized on a state-wide and national level multiple times by North Carolina Legal Elite®, Best Lawyers®, North Carolina Super Lawyers®, North Carolina’s Top-Rated Lawyers®, America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators® and Lawyers of Distinction®. He has an AV Preeminent Rating (Highest Possible Peer Review Rating in Legal Ability and Ethical Standards) by Martindale-Hubbell®.

When not practicing law, Jerry spends time with family, and he is involved in various church activities, including ongoing annual mission work in Belize, Central America.
