Seth is originally from Morganton, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he double-majored in American History and Political Science. After receiving an undergraduate degree, he went on to law school at the University of South Carolina School of Law. There, he served as an Articles Editor for the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business. Additionally, he was an officer and team captain for the law school’s Mock Trial team. During his final year of law school, he won the Roberts Senior Class Writing Award for the best research paper by a third-year law student.

After graduation from law school, Seth served as a Staff Attorney for the South Carolina Court of Appeals and then as law clerk for the Honorable Stephanie P. McDonald. He moved to the Lowcountry in 2017 and has worked in litigation since that time. Seth brings a unique perspective to Walker Allen, having previously worked as a plaintiff’s attorney. He is currently licensed to practice before the State and Federal Courts of South Carolina.

In his spare time, Seth enjoys following UNC and South Carolina athletics, and visiting his family back in North Carolina. Before moving to Charleston, he served as a volunteer coach for several of the South Carolina School of Law’s mock trial teams, and he continues to serve as a volunteer judge when possible.
